Week 25

Now that it is over, this week seemed to go by very quickly! I got a call at the beginning of the week that our crib and dresser had arrived, which was exciting since it took only 2 weeks instead of the 12 that we were originally quoted. Now that it is set up in the room it seems like everything is coming together. We also had a great weekend visiting friends in Visalia and going to the annual Superbowl bash at Uncle Les and Aunt Patty's house (always a favorite event).

Overall, besides the chronic back pain I have been feeling well. Last night I woke up at 3:30 am with a terrible stomach ache and nausea. Of course since I was miserable I woke Marshall up and he was so amazing. He stayed up with me, talked to me and sang the baby and I songs until we felt better and fell back asleep. I'm so in love with him and can't wait to see him with our daughter.

This week I have my second appointment with the midwife and it looks like Marshall will be able to come which would be great. Also, we will find out more about childbirth classes and pediatricians which are both things that we have been wondering about. Can't believe that it won't be long before our baby girl makes her grand appearance!

I'm so happy to finally see pregnant photos! I didn't realize you guys had put some up (boy was I wrong!!!)

You guys can't image how elated I am to be an auntie of three gorgeous nieces! Every time I pass by ANYTHING related to baby stuff I pretty much tear up at the thought of seeing another little one running around calling me "Ti Ti Me Me." He he. And, oddly enough, I'm currently taking a psych class that is dealing with the various stages of pregnancy (in depth)... which is very similar to a section I took when Michele was pregnant with Mischa. So, despite that fact that I have NO CLUE what you're going through physically, I have a slight clue what's goin' on. And, all I can say is it's pretty amazing.

I CANNOT wait to see you guys in may. Still planning on the same name? (not sure if it's a secret)

love you! miss you!

Oops, also I am SO GLAD you guys decided to go with a mid-wife :)

Laura, if you haven't yet, you should check out the documentary "the business of being born." It's a little hollywood-ish. But, good.

I just love reading your blogs. I think its so great that you have these up!
about the back pain, there are many pregnant women that come into the office for this same problem. Usually heat packs do the trick as well as some hip and back exercises like being on all fours and lifting the legs and arms up alternately. sounds a little silly but it works for some people.
