Moved in/39 weeks!

So we are all moved in and unpacked, just ready and waiting for our little guy to arrive. It is hard to believe that we have been in our new home one week already, but it just feels so right :) I was really hoping that we would have an organized unpacked home to bring the baby home to and now I know that is a reality! Our "to do" list is quickly shrinking and since there was so much stuff on there that only Marshall could do, I decided to add "have a baby" to it to show that I wasn't slacking.

So now we are just waiting and waiting. I made it to 39 weeks & 1 day with Hazel - so if I make it until Monday without going into labor that will officially make me the most pregnant I have ever been. I am doing alright but just getting more uncomfortable in my own body as each day comes. I know it will all be a distant memory once I am holding our sweet little baby in my arms.

Hazel is doing great and seems to be adjusting to the new abode quite well. She also started doing all of the hand motions to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and it couldn't be more adorable. Luckily she can't open any of the doors here (yet) so that gives us a bit of a reprieve until she grows that extra inch. She's also been carrying her baby doll around the house and giving it kisses which seems like a good sign of how she will be towards her brother, that is until she starts swinging it around by the head and stomps on its chest with both feet :)

Our Watermelon

So this week the baby is roughly the size of a watermelon and it sure feels like it! While we are moving on Saturday and I would like him to stay put until then, he is free to come anytime after the 8th! I had my final growth check ultrasound this morning and everything is looking great. He was measuring exactly on target with a due date of 8/21 and was estimated to be approximately 7lb 2oz, which is wonderful considering that he was growing a bit "too fast" for my comfort a few weeks ago.

Needless to say we are quite excited about the house and to welcome this little guy home. Since I had to be induced with Hazel I am a bit on edge waiting to see when I go into labor and hoping I recognize it! I think part of it has to do with the fact that Marshall's work is 45 minutes away and I just want him to be here for the birth. Since the baby is measuring on target and the fluid looks good (our issue with Hazel last time was mainly low fluid) I am "free" to just wait and see when he arrives. We are definitely ready to meet our little watermelon and I know that Hazel will make a wonderful big sister :)
