Everything looked great at the midwife appointment yesterday: baby was measuring on track, we heard the heartbeat and I found out that I passed the gestational diabetes test. I had to wait awhile in the lobby (the midwife got behind as one of her patients was in labor) but I just took the time to relax and be grateful for this little baby.
This last weekend went by so quickly with the holiday! I can't believe I am leaving tomorrow night to head to Seattle for the Baby Shower. I am really looking forward to seeing so many friends and family! It is strange to think that this is the last "big" trip away from home that I have planned before the baby arrives. Honestly, the thought of being away from home beyond 30 weeks makes me a bit anxious anyway, so it will be fine by me to hang around here until our little one decides to make her grand appearance.
