We're going to be parents!!!

The news is still sinking in... it has been almost exactly 48 hours since that positive pregnancy test changed our lives. It all started with me feeling different than usual. Marshall definitely thought something was up as he was welcomed by the sight of me sleeping on the couch every night he got home from work! After some discussion, we finally decided to pick up a pregnancy test "just to make sure". After passing time until taking the test by watching Transformers, we finally decided to test. I couldn't bear to look, so I sent Marshall in to tell me the news. The next few minutes are a blur... Marshall coming out of the bathroom, test in hand and announcing that it was actually positive!! We are going to be parents!! Just to make sure, we headed to Target to get a second test, only to find out it was already closed. As a result, we ended up having to make the trek to the 24 hour Wal-Mart in Clovis, which was an experience in itself to say the least. This time we bought a "fancy" digital test and it confirmed the first result... definitely pregnant! My first appointment with my doctor is Thursday, September 11th to confirm the good news. We are so excited and can't wait to meet our little one this May.
