Week 6 is here!

It is so exciting to be in a new week. Just 34 more weeks (give or take) until our Jellybean arrives! Reaching these small milestones in the beginning is so fun and exciting. I won't lie though, it feels like time has been dragging by. Has it really only been less than two weeks since we found out? So much has changed in that small period of time. These last few days and especially this morning I have started to feel queasy but haven't become extremely sick yet. I am curious to see what happens over this next week as this is when morning sickness typically sets in.

I am really looking forward to my upcoming appointment on 9/25 with Dr. Peters. They told me they would do another ultrasound to determine Jellybean's age and would also be looking for a heartbeat. I am both nervous and excited at the same time. It just amazes me how quickly our baby is growing and developing in this first trimester.

Last night Marshall and I purchased ONE item for our Jellybean at Old Navy. I just wanted one tiny thing to look at and envision our baby wearing 8 months from now. We picked an adorable pair of fleece cargo pants that are size 0/3 months. Although they are blue I figured a boy or girl could wear them (by the way, Marshall really thinks it is going to be a boy!!) Of course I only realized today that when this baby is 0/3 months it will be summer here (over 100 degrees) and fleece pants may not be the best idea! Oh well, we will just have to crank up the air conditioning and all put fleece pants on! Here is a picture of the pants, and don't be fooled... they are tiny! I should have put a ruler next to them as a point of reference!
