Well we are finally back from the east coast and Roscoe had his second birthday so we are free to breathe a sigh of relief... Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! No more plane trips with two toddlers or big travel plans ahead for the rest of the year, total relief! Oh, did I forget to mention my killer birthday present though??? A three day cruise to Mexico with Aunt Patty and her friends while Marshall stays home with the kids? I have never left all three of them at home overnight ever, so while I will miss them it will be so much fun to get some time to myself :)
As for all the other medical "issues", etc I had finally had enough with the midwife's office and all their overbearing exaggerations. When the news came back that my uterus was in fact normal (they got all worked up about if for nothing) and then I got yet another order in the mail from them for yet another follow up ultrasound I'd finally had enough and called our doula Natalie for a recommendation on another office to switch to. While there are no other midwife practices in town (the downfall of being in a "smaller" city) we did switch to an ob-gyn's office that works very closely with our doula. As she has been present at both of our births and knows our style (as intervention free as possible) and what we want, we feel pretty confident that if we do go on to have a third delivery having them on board with Natalie that is all that matters anyway.

So glad you found another office to go to and that you have found someone outside of the medical field (they just grab the baby anyways!!) that can assist you in having the birth you desire. Thinking good thoughts for #3 and whatever timing is perfect for you!
