Busy Busy

We've had a great week with friends and family and we have a lot of fun stuff coming up as well. Marshall's dad and stepmom come into town tomorrow and meet Roscoe in person for the very first time!! They on Friday Omi and Grandpa arrive along with Auntie Lili just in time for Roscoe's celebration. On Sunday we also get to see Uncle Maris and Auntie Diana. It will be great fun to see everyone and also know that we are having another big get together in just two weeks for the most anticipated wedding of the last decade!

Roscoe has definitely upped his walking skills and when he chooses to he can walk across the room by himself with his big sis cheering him on the entire way (Waz-co walk!!!! Waz-co walk!!! Yay!!!!) Hazel just continues to amaze us with the new things she says and does every single day. It also is a great reminder on what a little sponge she is and there are definitely areas where we can watch what we say and do :)

There has been a bit of uncertainty with Marshall's job due to State of California budget issues. While it is a bit scary and frustrating as he really does enjoy working there we know that regardless of what happens we will figure it all out. One thing is for sure about all of this - it has definitely woken me up to appreciating all of this time I get to spend with our kiddos these days. It is almost impossible for me to imagine going back to the CPA world right now, but if I must I know it can be done.

Agreed. That will be the biggest wedding of the decade!

I hope you all enjoy delicious pancakes at Waz-co's birthday celebration. I'll be thinking about you guys, and about pancakes.

Being state employed is great until there's no money and then it's no fun. I know everything will work out. It always does. Worst case scenario ever: I believe there's an empty mobile home in Shelton you guys can move into. :)
